A cylindrical "stump" of compressed paper with sharpened ends for blending or correcting work in "dusty" media, such as charcoal or pastel. Also great for blending colours e.g. Coloursoft pencils in card making. Paper stumps last a long time as you can re-dress the point with a nail file so it's like new.
